On March 24, 2014, thanks to Mom Central I attended the Allergy Face Get the look Event hosted by Zyrtec. The event was to showcase how Zyrtec understands that allergies can affect not only how you feel, but also how you look. In order to help women with these questions, questions, Zyrtec teamed up with celebrity makeup artist Jamie Greenberg to help women tackle the allergy face.
I got the opportunity to speak with Jamie Greenberg and learn about a few tips that can help disguise redness and reduce the appearance of puffiness.
Jaime has come up with a few looks to help women.
1. Fresh Faced and Fabulous look-This look helps to embrace the red nose on your allergy face. The best way to camouflage redness is to use it to your advantage. Use foundation and concealer around the area. This will lessen the red nose.
2. Red Carpet Ready-This look was inspired by actress Debra Messing who is an allergy suffer. This look helps to reduce the red nose, by playing down the redness by enhancing your eyes and using makeup highlight on your skin.
3. Cat Eye Chic-Puffiness under your eyes can be hard to handle. This look helps you to transform your eyes into the cat eye look. Use a creamy black or brown liquid liner to bring out your eyes.
4. Barest Beauty-This look allows for a natural beauty. Get color correct redness by dabbing a green tinted concealer. The green tint helps to combat redness. Add a light colored gloss for enhanced look.
5. Hollywood Siren-This look helps take away from watery eyes. It has less makeup around the eyes and draws the look to bold red lips and a contoured face.
These are just a few of the quick tips that can help you look better and enjoy the Spring.
