Fall is here and the holidays are right around the corner. I am getting ready how about you. When I moved into my new home I was so happy to have hardwood floors. Keeping them clean and nice is always on my mind. I get asked all the time is it hard to keep clean and my answer is not really. I was worried about dust and other things showing up but I use Bona hardwood floor cleaner. I have used Bona on those hardwood floors from day one and this cleaner does an excellent job with cleaning and making my floors gleam.

I remember when I was growing up my mother was a cleaning fanatic and she would always get our place cleaned from room to room. I am not quite the cleaner that my mother is but I do like to keep my home looking pretty and clean.

Here are a few tips that can help making cleaning up this holiday easier:

Clean and mop all the hardwood floors. Using the Bona mop of course.

Bona has come up with some great new Disposable Dusting Cloths these provide a quick fix clean, featuring a 3D design that utilizes thousands of fluffy fibers to effectively lock away dust, dirt and pet hair. Use these to remove dust bunnies that seem to accumulate. I have several pieces of furniture that are open underneath and these always have dust bunnies under them. These new cloths are great at getting into those areas easily and when I am finished, I can just throw them out. They are also great for cleaning those ceiling fans.

Bona products are non-toxic and greenguard certified. They have products for hardwood floors, wood furniture and stone/tile/laminate and other surfaces. I have a great Bona mop with a head that holds cleaning pads and dusting pads. You can buy these cleaning pads, which simply stick to the head and they are easily removed for washing. Spray the cleaning pad with Bona cleaner and run it over the floors creating a nice shine and getting up any residue on the floor.

I also picked up a Microfiber Dusting Pad from Bona, which also fits on the mop head. It is great for picking up dust and you can also wash this in the washing machine. Bona has made cleaning easier for me and it doesn’t take long to cover my hardwood floors and it works fast.

My floors and stairs look great after cleaning with Bona and they stay looking great. The holidays are so busy and keeping my floors cleans is one thing that I don’t have to worry about because Bona is there to help you.
