The hardest part of reviewing the Moshi bag is getting a chance to mention all the great details. Small pockets that cover the ends of the zippers. Double stitched pocket openings that look like European suiting. Top notch vegan leather that one took me a minute to realize it was not the real thing. The Helios Lite puts all the best of Moshi’s features into a small backpack that lets you take around your laptop and accessories in style.
When I check it out I found nine pockets. For the main event, there’s a padded sleeve that holds your iPad or MacBook snugly. This inside the main interior pocket, which also features an elastic band for holding a water bottle or umbrella and two areas to carry chargers and cables.
The main pocket’s also has enough room for all my standard gear, from an umbrella, to my pens and pencils and my makeup and medicine. There is also enough room to fit in my book.
There are three zipped compartments on the Helios Lite. One is inside the main compartment, one’s on the external flap, and there’s a vertical Napoleon pocket around the back. These easily stowed my iPad, and my headphones. It also keep my wallet. A slit pocket is located on the side, and the loops on the Helios straps are perfect for attaching an additional clip.
These bags are well designed and worth the price. The zippers have textured ridges that make them easy to grasp. That is a big deal when you have to grab it and be off on the go. The construction is of such a high standard that a spill in one of the pockets is contained by the weather resistant materials, preventing a leaky water bottle from ruining everything in your bag. The magnetic snaps are mounted on the fully adjustable straps with working buckles, so even a packrat like me can close the flap and keep everything secure.
The Helios Lite is available in two color combinations: Titanium Grey with tan accents and Sky Blue with dark brown accents. I have noticed that backpacks usually come in kids styles and adventure ones. These are so great you will feel proud to take them into work. It is great because it fits comfortably on my hand and leaves my hands free to open doors. I am always on the go and I need a bag that goes with me and this is the one.
